Review process

All documents related to the submission of a manuscript for publication and other documents arising during its consideration are electronic and are registered in a personal account on the website of the journal Advance technologies and Computer Science.

The journal reviews all materials submitted to the editorial office corresponding to its topics with the aim of their expert evaluation. All reviewers are recognized experts on the subject of peer-reviewed materials and have published on the subject of the peer-reviewed article over the past 3 years. Reviews are kept in the editorial office for 5 years.

An article submitted for publication undergoes a preliminary check for compliance with the journal profile, text originality, and formatting requirements. Submissions that do not meet these conditions will be rejected with reasons for refusal.

Articles satisfying these conditions are sent for unilateral "blind" review to members of the editorial board of the journal who have a scientific specialization closest to the topic of the article. The editorial board has the right to involve external reviewers who are recognized experts in the subject of the reviewed materials. The reviewer cannot be the author or co-authors of the reviewed article, as well as employees of the departments of the organizations in which they work.

A designated reviewer must report all conflicts of interest that may affect his opinion of the article; he can and should refuse to review a particular article if he considers it justified in terms of scientific ethics.

The reviewer evaluates the manuscript and makes a recommendation according to the approved instruction. If the reviewer recommends rejecting or accepting the article after revision, then the review should indicate the reasons for this decision.

The editorial office of the publication sends the authors of the submitted materials' copies of reviews or a motivated refusal, and also undertakes to send copies of reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia upon receipt of the corresponding request to the editors of the publication.

The review is conducted confidentially. The review is available to the author of the article in the personal account without a signature and indicating the name, position, place of work of the reviewer.

The maximum period for reviewing an article is 3 months.

Articles, revised taking into account the comments of the reviewers, are submitted to the editor-in-chief for consideration and finally approved by order of SPIIRAS.

Reviews are kept in the editorial office for 5 years.
